Passionate About Moving...

Since a young age i have had an enthusiasm for sports and always enjoyed the gift we have as humans to move and overcome physical challenges.With this passion i have discovered many forms of training techniques and ideas which have lead me on a journey to find the essential reasoning as to how we should move.

I have participated in a wide variety of sports and physical activities over my lifetime and have developed a philosophy on what is most important when it comes to enhancing movement and fitness capabilities.

Functional Fitness is term used to describe a form of training that enhances our ability to move and perform various activities in sport,recreation,hobbies,work and fundamental movement.

​

Intrinsic Movement provides the most intelligent functional training techniques and caters them to suit the individual client.

​

What is often overlooked by trainers is posture and musculoskeletal dysfunctions of the client.Part of my philosophy is correcting these dysfunctions prior to and during a continued training program.These dysfunctions will be corrected using techniques such as Myofascial release,muscle re-tensioning,deep muscle activation and posture training.

Once this area is sufficiently improved,the greater the progress and benefits the client will achieve once they start to progress through their customised training program.These benefits can include pain free movement,improved blood circulation,balanced biomechanics and efficient energy use.All these factors add up to greater results whether it be weight loss,sport specific improvement,strength and conditioning,movement or agility.

I believe all people should have the privilidge to use their body in the way it is designed to be used.
